Item description from seller

Pebble-grained dark green cloth spine with lighter green printed and glazed paper over boards. 32mo. 20(2)pp. One small damp spot and a little rubbing, a pleasing very good or better copy. In 1883 Bloomfield organized their own fire department, after the fire chief of Newark refused to respond to calls, which, because of the distance involved, were invariably futile. We have dated this little book as dating from the tenure of the Chief Engineer as listed on the front board. Scarce.
