Covid Catholic: The Crooked Path That Led to God

When a funeral, a global pandemic, and a strangely prophetic funeral director collide, Gabrielle finds herself stumbling into Catholicism entirely by accident. What follows is a delightfully messy journey of grief, panic‐prayers, spiritual detours, and the slow realization that God had been pursuing her all along. Equal parts heartfelt and hilarious, this memoir is for anyone who's ever wondered if they're too lost, too late, or too unqualified for grace--a story for anyone who has ever wondered if they belong, doubted their worthiness, or found God in the most unlikely places.

Jesse Rose is a spiritual seeker who stumbled into the Catholic Church the way some people stumble into thrift‐store treasures--by accident, during a crisis, and with a story to tell. After moving to Florida in 2020, the pandemic delayed her baptism and sent her into a season of unexpected grace, awkward holiness, and divine plot twists. Her debut memoir, COVID Catholic, invites readers to notice God hiding in the crooked lines of everyday life.
