Cozy Crochet Blankets: 20 Beginner-Friendly Patterns for Comfy Throws with Unique Textured Stitches

The Softest, Chunkiest Crochet Blankets

Get comfy with 20 beautiful crochet blankets designed by HalfDouble Patterns, the originator of the pom-pom yarn crochet technique. Each blanket pattern showcases a different stitch or technique to create the coziest of crochet textures you just have to touch―soft and squishy pom-poms, 3-D ribbing, braids, and cables, or enormous, oversized versions of classic stitches like giant bobbles and puffs―all with beautiful extra details, like the cleanest straight lines, ombré colors, and reversible sides.

Along with teaching new skills like Tunisian or mosaic crochet, these blankets are designed to be as satisfying to make as they are to use. You’ll love the meditative state that comes with crocheting them―especially when they get big enough to curl up under while you work.

Each pattern is fully explained, so they’re perfect for both beginners building their skills and more experienced crocheters looking for a fresh, inspiring collection of modern patterns. Plus, the patterns are easily customizable so you can personalize your project to your space, from throw size to king size and more. Each project makes a stunning, cozy blanket that’s as enjoyable to crochet as it is to snuggle up in.
