Our goal is for readers to gain real industrial experience by understanding what skills the companies are looking for. The structure of this book is organized in the same way as how the modern ASIC / VLSI industry partitions the workflow.

Specifically, in this book, we focus on Architecture and Micro-Architecture design, the two most important skill sets that all hardware engineers should master.
