DIGITAL ADDICTS, UNITE!

Andy Wagner spends every waking moment on his phone, watching one video after another. His parents mostly put up with it … until he gets so distracted that he walks straight into a raging river!

It’s time for a crackdown and soon, he’s enrolled at Camp Digi-Detox, a mysterious summer program operating inside his former hometown, Infinity Point. Undaunted, he and his fellow addicts launch a daring raid to get their devices back. But as their plan unfolds, they make a startling discovery.

Camp Digi-Detox isn’t helping them.
It’s using them.

Now, Andy and his friends must turn the very digital habits that landed them in camp against the adults running it. Because Infinity Point hides an incredible secret—and someone is getting dangerously close to finding it.

Packed with humor, puzzles, danger, and unexpected twists, Cracking Time launches The Uncrackables, a fast-paced middle-grade mystery-adventure series for fans of Gordon Korman’s Masterminds, James Ponti’s The Sherlock Society, and The 39 Clues.

David Meyer writes middle-grade adventure stories filled with mystery, puzzles, and hidden secrets.

He is the author of The Uncrackables series, which follows a group of kids as they uncover long-buried truths and unexpected dangers hiding in plain sight. His books are designed for readers ages 8-14 and emphasize curiosity, teamwork, problem-solving, and the idea that small choices can have big consequences.

David enjoys creating stories that challenge readers to think, ask questions, and look at the world a little differently—while still delivering fast-paced adventures and plenty of surprises along the way.

He lives with his family and spends his time reading, researching strange bits of history, and building stories one mystery at a time.
