Cranial Nerves: Function and Dysfunction

Cranial Nerves: Function and Dysfunction presents problem-based learning cases and clinical testing in a visual format enhanced by vibrant illustrations created by the award-winning medical illustrator Linda Wilson-Pauwels. The color-coded functional drawings and text guide the user through the pathways/modalities from the periphery of the body to the brain (sensory input) and from the brain to the periphery (motor output). Each pathway is described according to the direction of the nerve impulse, not according to the embryologic outgrowth of the nerve. She is the 2008 recipient of the Brödel Award for Excellence in Education awarded to medical illustrators for outstanding educational contributions to the profession of medical illustration.
