Greg Bishop grew up with 12 brothers and sisters and has four kids of his own, so he had changed a lot of diapers by the time he started Boot Camp for New Dads in 1990.
He thought that men would get more involved and excited about fatherhood if they heard (and saw) other dads on the job, so he invited a few dads-to-be to the local hospital where they were joined by new dads and their babies. A couple hours later, after getting their questions answered and seeing the dads take care of their babies, the "Rookie" dads walked away thinking, "I can do this!." And Boot Camp for New Dads was born.
Today, he and hundreds of other Boot Camp Coaches conduct workshops in 44 states; the U.S. Navy, Army, and Air Force; the UK; and Canada.
