Lee Brandt Randall, a classroom art teacher for nearly thirty years, also loves to create her own surrealist art, make puppets of all types and sized, and designs outlandish costumes for Baton Rouge's "Krewe of Yazoo Precision Lawn Mower Drill Team." Makin' Groceries is one of six books she has illustrated for Todd-Michael.

Emily Randall is an artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Emily now resides in Edinburgh, Scotland where she does design and illustration work and is the visual coordinator for a local community arts charity.
