Did You Create A Monster?

This book focuses on the black-white achievement gap in higher education. Some researchers and common folks tend to think that financial aid, disciplinary reasons and even intellectual inferiority are the cause of the achievement gap, but this book takes a look at identity politics. There are unique research methods that look at assimilation and transformation of the minority (African-American) student within the context of a predominantly white collegiate setting. There are also guiding questions which make this concise and succinct read into a discussion. Please enjoy!
