About the Author
Andrea Adler, referred to as the "metaphysical marketer," pioneered Holistic Marketing in the early 80's. She is the founder of HolisticPR.com and her three books on Marketing: PR for The Holistic Healer, Creating an Abundant Practice and The Science of Spiritual Marketing sell worldwide. Her breakout novel, Pushing Upward, published by Hay House won the Los Angeles Book Festival Award and was Hay House "Pick of the Month." She also wrote the screenplay, currently being pitched to production companies. Andrea has written over 50 articles on holistic marketing, translated in five languages, and has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows. She has supported Internet companies, small businesses, cultural creatives, and entrepreneurs in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and the United States. A recipient of the Axiom Business Book Award in 2008, Andrea has been a Key-Note speaker at hundreds of conferences and has studied meditation for 40 years, living in ashrams and meditation centers in India, Paris, New York, and California. In the 80's Andrea was a highly respected consultant in Silicon Alley (NYC) and has supported business people in diverse industries. In her twenties, Andrea was an actress both on and off Broadway, appearing in Neil Simon's Chapter Two. She was a member of Cafe La Mama, the improvisational group; The Groundlings, and appeared in such TV shows as "Police Woman,"; "The Bob Newhart Show," "Executive Suite," "Steubenville," and "Bronx." She also co-wrote and directed three videos at the American Film Institute. Andrea travels the globe teaching people her holistic methodology. As a consultant and workshop presenter, Andrea demonstrates how to integrate spiritual practice and psychological self-inquiry into a fundamental transformation of people's lives and their marketing approaches. She currently lives in California.
