Creating a Confident Smile

You deserve a confident smile.

Yet many people who want or need a smile makeover don’t climb into the dental chair because they fear the unknown. What happens during a smile makeover? What are the latest design and material options? What should they look for when selecting a cosmetic dentist? How can they limit discomfort during procedures? Does a new smile change what they can eat or drink? Will the whole process be worth it?

In the first comprehensive guidebook of its kind written for patients by a top-ranked cosmetic dentist, Creating a Confident Smile: Your Guide to the Smile Makeover Process answers these questions and more. From understanding the importance of your smile, to taking an active role in its design and delivery, to managing its aftercare, this book empowers you to pursue your ideal smile.

Called the "go-to cosmetic dentist in the San Francisco Bay Area" by local media, Dr. Joseph Field dedicates his practice to improving the patient experience. He earned his DDS from USC's famed dental school, where he also learned to love college football and hate LA traffic. Dr. Field holds several national and international fellowships, and is a diplomat for the American Board of Oral Implantology. When he's not restoring smiles, Dr. Field likes to experiment in his practice's dental ceramics lab, teach at his alma mater, and lecture around the country on advanced techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
