Fayth Vaughn-Shavuo, Ph.D. is a Senior Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University. She earned her doctorate in Reading, Language, and Cognition with a Bilingual Bicultural Emphasis from Hofstra University, and is a recognized expert in bilingual education, reading, and teacher preparation. She has authored book chapters, peer reviewed journal articles, and curricula in the area of English as a Second Language, presenting research nationally and internationally.

Pavan John Antony, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Adelphi University.  He earned his doctorate degree from Washington State University (WSU) and has been teaching at Adelphi University for over 12 years. He is actively involved in cross cultural issues of families raising children with disabilities and has published books, chapters, and several peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Antony continues to present his research in national and international conferences.
