About the Author
Scilla Andreen is an award-winning filmmaker, popular speaker, mother of six, and the creator of the Creative Coping Toolkit, a film and evidence-based mental health education program used in schools, workplaces, and communities around the world. She has spent more than a decade working alongside educators, brain scientists, mental health professionals, and families to make talking about our feelings easier, more accessible, and even fun. Her work blends storytelling with simple, science-based tools that help people notice what they're feeling, interrupt negative thinking, and shift their internal state toward calm, clarity, focus, and joy.
