Similar in organization to the excellent "Creating Your Home" series that includes Creative Living Room Decorating and Creative Window Treatments (both LJ 9/15/96), this volume is well illustrated with photographs that show a sometimes fussy, flowery country look. Unfortunately, it never really defines what makes up country style. Also, ambitious how-to projects such as laying flooring and tile are included but not adequately explained. Only for comprehensive country collections.
