Creator And Creation: Or The Knowledge In The Reason Of God And His Work (1872)

""Creator and Creation: Or The Knowledge in the Reason of God and His Work"" is a philosophical book written by Laurens Perseus Hickok and first published in 1872. The book explores the relationship between God as the creator and His creation, arguing that knowledge of the creator can be found through the study of His creation. Hickok asserts that God's work can be understood through the use of reason, and that this knowledge can lead to a deeper understanding of the divine. The book is divided into three parts: the first section explores the nature of God, the second section examines the relationship between God and His creation, and the third section delves into the implications of this relationship for human beings. Throughout the book, Hickok draws on a range of philosophical and theological sources to support his arguments, including the works of Plato, Aristotle, and St. Augustine. ""Creator and Creation"" is a thought-provoking and insightful work that offers a unique perspective on the relationship between God and the universe. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
