After spending the first part of the Zombie RiZing holed up in their school, Beath and her friends have finally ventured back into the outside world - and to say things have deteriorated would be an understatement.

Fortunately, salvation is at hand, in the form of the Black Oaks Shopping Centre and its mother lode of food, clothes and weapons. Or at least it would be if the bad guys hadn't gotten there first. Specifically, one bad guy - Karl Dreeks, a villain of the highest order who's turning apocalypse lemons into lemonade in the worst way possible. Backed up by an army of the undead and the monstrous, he thinks his victory over the gang will be an easy one.

But they've got news for him, especially Ms Simmons, who may not be as clueless as it once seemed.
