Provides traditional recipes for homemade macaroni, sauces, pasta dishes, bread, pizza, calzone, sausages, soups, stews, fish, shellfish, meats, poultry, vegetables, and desserts

Cremaldi's parents own Trio's, an Italian food shop in Boston's North End, and she and her husband run their own gourmet take-out store in Cambridge. These recipes include many for the flavored pastas the family is known for, traditional Italian specialities, and a variety of the author's personal favorites. The pastaspink peppercorn, sage, chocolateare interesting, but many of the other recipes are unexceptional. Haute Italian-American fare; for local and larger Italian collections. JS
