Crests of Magic

Sixteen-year-old Emric Vale has always felt behind in a world where everyone else seems to know exactly who they’re meant to be. While other students at Cloudrest Academy proudly wield their chosen magical Crests, Emric is still searching for his place, and for the spark he’s always been told he has.

After moving to a new city built with floating districts and mana-powered technology, Emric must navigate unfamiliar halls, new classmates, and the pressure of living up to a family name he’s not sure he deserves. But as he’s drawn deeper into Cloudrest’s competitive, unpredictable world of magic, Emric begins to uncover abilities and friendships, that challenge everything he thought he knew about himself.

A story of identity, growth, and finding your strength when it feels out of reach, this modern magical adventure is perfect for fans of YA fantasy and academy stories.
