This issue features Du Bois essays "Black Banks and White in Memphis" and The NAACP Battle Front, poetry by Michael Fraenkel, Lewis Alexander, Beatrice M. Murphy, and others, and Marita O. Bonners prize essay The Young Blood Hungers. Also includes international content on Haiti and illustrated Along the Color Line section. Includes numerous education related ads for Historically Black Colleges. Center leaf pulled loose from binding staples; one page with a shallow accordion stress crease top front corner. Covers lacking. Good only thus.
