Thomas Babington Macaulay (1800-1859) was an English historian, poet, literary critic and politician. This copy is bound in 3/4 dark green leather over marbled boards. The spine has five raised bands with gilt spine lettering and compartment decoration. Top edges of all volumes are gilt. Marbled end paper. Pagination: vol.1 585 p.; vol. 2 611 p.; vol. 3. 626 p. There is just a little edgewear to this set. The contents are clean and free of foxing or staining. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the front paste down in each volume. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall.

We strive to ship all orders within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on 8vo size books (about 8"x5") weighing 2.0 pounds. If your book order contains more than one volume or is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.
