The front and back covers are made of mid brown tree calf with a borders of gilt flowers and scrolls. Tan calf spines with five raised bands with gilt detail. Titles and volume numbers in gilt on brown leather labels in the second and third and elaborate gilt flowers and scrolls in the other compartments. Gilt hatching to the cover edges, marbled page edges, pastedowns and endpapers. Condition very good, corners and edges a little rubbed, owner's bookplate on front pastedowns else fine, contents very clean. With the bookplate of Henry Yool Esq. on the front pastedown of each volume.
