Solid and attractive, gilt spine, marbled end papers and page edges, prize plate to the front. Provenance prize inscription for Ernest Medley to the front. Approximately 7 ¼ inches tall (18.5cm). Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles to a leather title label, gilt decoration to the spine, worn and rubbed with some loss to the gilt. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition worn and bumped. Boards good condition full leather, gilt crest to the front board, gilt edges to the boards, marked and worn. Page edges good condition all marbled, darkened to the top. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition marbled paper. End papers good condition marbled paper, , prize plate to the front, foxed and tanned subsequently. Title good condition tanned. Pages good condition tanned, illustrated.
