This is a set of 10 red cloth books. This is a group of Carlyle's classics. I do not know if this is a complete set? It is complete in the sense that there is no volume that begins one of his works and then the ending is not in the set--because the works in the set are all complete, however I do not know if there is another work in the same edition that is not present. 9 of the books are in good plus condition, one book (the second volume of the French Revolution) has a large piece of the spine missing, has a tear down the spine so that the cloth is loose and thus the boards are weak. Most of the books have never been read--because many of the pages are uncut. There is some bumped corners, moderate discoloration to all of the spines, some fraying to the tops and bottoms of the spines cloth. Interior is good plus.
