AI Critical New Testament (AICNT): Neutral Translation with Annotations for Over 7000 Textual Variants

A revolutionary New Testament translation, the AICNT delivers a neutral, accurate, and highly readable English rendering of the Greek text. What sets it apart is its unprecedented transparency into manuscript differences—readers can clearly see how wording varies across early Greek manuscripts and later text traditions, opening a new way to understand the transmission of Scripture.

This critical edition documents over 7,000 textual variants from the earliest surviving manuscripts through later traditions. The base text reflects the earliest attested readings recognized by leading critical editions (NA28, SBLGNT, THGNT), while footnotes and annotations present alternative readings from early witnesses, the Byzantine Majority Text, and the Textus Receptus. Variants are clearly marked by { } for wording differences, [[ ]] for likely additions, and [ ] for omissions in early manuscripts, allowing readers to see how the text has developed and changed over the centuries.

By combining scholarly depth with accessible readability, the AI Critical New Testament opens Scripture in a way never before implemented. Ideal for Bible study, textual criticism, and anyone seeking a transparent view of the New Testament.
