Critical, But Stable: Columns, Essays, and Other Desperate Attempts to Win Your Love

Heralded by an imaginary critic as "breathtakingly brilliant," James Sigman's Critical, But Stable marks the lovable eccentric's return to the publishing world. This long-awaited volume features many classic "humor" pieces from Buzzsaw Haircut and Aimless, along with several never-before-seen glimpses into the fragile mind of a dangerous man.?Relive those incessant mentions of his spelling bee victory.?Enjoy his odes to Dustin "Screech" Diamond and the New York State Fair.?Marvel at the clumsy, sporadically entertaining early work and the depraved new writing. ?Thank the Lord of your choice that you're not nearly as unstable as James Sigman. The adventures are all here, waiting for you to discover them. So go on and find them! Then, tell all your wealthy, easily entertained friends to buy this uproarious book. Or skip the "discovering adventure" thing and just tell your rich pals. It's up to you.

Staten Island's own James Sigman has had a hand in creating such beloved cultural touchstones as Sig-Dasz Sports, Buzzsaw Haircut, The Caramel Letters, and Aimless. He currently resides in a room that is littered with CDs, books, Saved By The Bell memorabilia, and the broken pieces of his shattered dreams.
