About the Authors

Robert Heidbreder is a celebrated and multi-award-winning children's poet and author. He has written over 20 books, including the recent ROAR-chestra! and Crocs in a Box. He taught primary school for 30 years, for which he won the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence. He lives in Vancouver BC with his wife and two cats.

Rae Mat�’s first children’s picture books, Crocodiles say… and Crocodiles Play! were published by Tradewind Books. She and her husband, Gabor, have three children, a dog and two cats, and live in Vancouver, British Columbia. Rae divides her painting time between her backyard studio in Vancouver and Hornby Island, BC.
