About the Author
Galina Kotlyar, MS RD LDN is a holistic nutritionist and a licensed, registered dietician with over 30 years of clinical experience. She is also a former, fully recovered IBD patient. After being diagnosed with ulcerative pancolitis, she went through a full cycle of conventional medical treatments as well as some alternative medicine treatments that failed to cure her. Doctors told her that a colectomy (surgical removal of the colon) was her final option. She declined the surgery, and chose to find a natural alternative.
