This is a vintage copy of "Crome Yellow" by ALDOUS HUXLEY. 1937; The Sun Dial Press; Garden City, New York. The book is the first novel published by Huxley. From a review: ".a classic comedy of manners and ideas, and a delightful, good-natured literary satire. When a collection of idiosyncratic characters are drawn together in an English country house for a party, many intrigues ensue." Condition: Small cloth tear at the top-right corner of the front cover. Cloth tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine, and at the cover corner tips. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The gilt lettering on the spine has partially faded. Tanning along the inner edge of the front pastedown, and on the rear pastedown.
