CronoSentinels

"CronoSentinals" is a novella, and first in a planned series of books. The story follows the remarkable journey of David Hartley, an ex-police detective and current lawyer from New Lexington, who is shot in 2024 and mysteriously wakes up three hundred years in the future. Unaged and bewildered, he discovers a technologically advanced society and becomes embroiled in a mission by the enigmatic CronoSentinels to prevent a looming global crisis.

Armed with his legal expertise and police instincts, David navigates diplomatic negotiations, forms a bond with Dr. Ava Patel, and confronts ethical dilemmas as he endeavors to avert personal and diplomatic catastrophe. While navigating the marvels of the future, David grapples with a yearning for his past life. Ultimately, he succeeds in brokering peace, while discovering secrets about this future society that lead him to the realization that everything is not as it appears. With a longing to return to his own time with his newfound wisdom, he learns to embrace the ordinary while carrying within him the extraordinary lessons learned from his extraordinary journey through time.
