Book presents an excellent history of the growth of the Methodist Church in California and Nevada (most notably the central and northern regions of California). Illustrated with numerous archival photographs. Indexed. 239 pages. In addition, there is a 14-page pamphlet entitled 'Paradise.Limted, Recollections of Pre-invasion Hawaii', also by the same author, which is laid-in. It is lightly illustrated.
