A Crown of Reveries: A Romantasy of Forbidden Magic and Fierce Queens (The Crown Saga #2: A Vine-Crowned Romantasy)

He escaped his past. It still knows how to claim him.

Queen Merrin has rescued her best friend and admitted she loves Windley. For one brief night, going home looks possible.

Then the knight's buried memories return—and the man who once owned him comes to collect.

Behind Windley's flirtation lies a history of stolen children, binding rings, and magic used to turn people into weapons. Some of those people are still trapped. Others are hunting Merrin.

Now a queen with dangerous shadow-magic is exactly what their captor wants.

Windley would do anything to keep Merrin out of his past. She refuses to leave him—and the family he couldn't save—inside it.

But the power answering Merrin's anger is growing hungry. Every threat to the man she loves makes it easier to listen.

Freeing him means confronting a monster.

It must not mean becoming one.

A Crown of Reveries is Book 2 of The Crown Saga, a complete adult romantasy. Merrin and Windley's non-explicit slow burn continues; read after A Crown of Echoes.
