The two meet on a badminton court and fall in love - Bulbul a deaf and mute girl who carries the sky in her eyes and Neel who lives in shadows.

But destiny plays a deadly hand and they are torn apart.

She gets lost in the unknown while he is haunted by loneliness and loss.

Finally, when a suicide and a miracle, despair and hope, come together, he leaves behind everything and goes into the hills to seek meaning and purpose. There he immortalises Bulbul in a life-like portrait - a painting that comes to inhabit the walls of his very existence against which he leans in desperate hope.

Will the portrait draw her out of the void after almost 2 decades and bring closure to their unfinished story or will it become the beginning of another?
