11pp extract, printed in double columns, illustrated with numerous engravings, salvaged from a damaged issue of Scribner's Monthly Magazine, Volume VI, #5, September, 1873. The Azore Islands off Portugal. Illustrations include market day in Fayal, the Pico Ferry, a view of Pico Peak, the Jetty of Ponto Delgado, St. Michael, etc. Housed in protective mylar report cover with spine sleeve. Scarce.
