Item description from seller

Paperback. 15pp, Wraps heavily foxed with some tanning to the pages, else a very good example. Early issue, heavy on ads and events with a single page of photos. Published in Atlanta, Cruise Weekly was one of the city?s earliest gay magazines, serving as both a social guide and a record of a growing Southern queer community. Filled with club listings, event coverage, personal ads, political news, and photographs from Atlanta?s bars and discos, the magazine documented a period when gay visibility in the South was expanding despite persistent legal and social hostility. Like many regional gay publications of the era, Cruise Weekly helped transform scattered nightlife and informal networks into a more connected public community, preserving a vivid snapshot of queer life in Atlanta.
