Hardcover in two tone tan cloth stamped in gilt. No date but bearing, at the end of the index, the name of the Edinburgh printer and the date 1948. Illustrated endpapers. 592 pp.with over 500 illustrations, with suggested bibliography, general index and glossary of sea terms, and index to the section "Some Legal Aspects of Yachting". Fine, tight copy (formerly owned by a private yachting club with their warning " Do Not Remove" on the front free endpaper) in near fine dust jacket, a touch embrowned at the spine and extremely shallow wear head edge of spine.
