The setting features images and places that are beautifully described; there are colorful images that will stay with readers after they are done reading. The conflict drives the plot and creates a lot of excitement in the reader. Deen Ferrell is a master storyteller and Cryptic Spaces: Dark Edge Rising is a great story, balanced and deftly executed.
