Cryptoamnesia: Synced (The Epochs of Synchronization)

CRYPTOAMNESIA

What if your memories weren’t yours? What if your past was programmed?

Ethan Carter thought he was escaping the system. Instead, he was becoming it.

In a world where memory isn’t remembered but rewritten, ChronoSync was supposed to be a breakthrough—erasing trauma, perfecting identity, creating a flawless society. But perfection has a cost. Those who ask questions disappear. Those who resist are erased. And those who wake up… realize they’ve lived this moment before.

Somewhere in the echoes of erased lives, Ethan unravels a horrifying truth: he’s been here before. Again and again. Each time, rewritten. Each time, chasing the same mystery. And each time, losing himself.

Now, with time collapsing and reality fracturing, he must uncover the secret hidden inside his own mind—before he’s erased for the last time.

For fans of mind-bending sci-fi like Inception, Black Mirror, and The Matrix, CRYPTOAMNESIA is a high-stakes thriller that will make you question everything you know about memory, identity, and free will.

Time is an illusion. And Ethan Carter is running out of it.

I write experimental literary fiction, and I publish it myself. As founder of Vehemently Inked LLC, I make books for readers who want to be asked something, not handed everything: work that is precise, deliberate, and built to do something to you rather than simply be read.My major work, Synchronization, was published September 2, 2026, and is available now in hardcover. It is not a novel written about an artificial intelligence; it is written as one. The narration boots inside the book; the reader becomes the final node. It is ergodic fiction: nonlinear, encoded, as much navigation as narration. Reading it is work, and that is the point.I am also the author of The Epochs of Synchronization: Cryptoamnesia, Cryptoanomaly, and Cryptogenesis, each a distinct cognitive perspective on a single unraveling. Before fiction, I spent years in business and sales, which taught me more than I expected about systems, persuasion, and the strange ways people process information. I design my own covers. I think in structure.
