The Culinary Cockpit(TM) Workbook

The Culinary Cockpit(TM) Workbook is the companion guide to the Culinary Cockpit(TM) Manual and the Unseen Cuisine Method(TM).

Designed for blind, low-vision, and sighted cooks, this workbook provides a structured framework for building kitchen confidence through sensory awareness, organization, and practical application.

Through guided exercises, Flight Logs, confidence assessments, sensory awareness activities, and Recipe Labs, students learn how to gather information through sound, aroma, texture, temperature, and spatial organization to make informed cooking decisions.

The Culinary Cockpit(TM) Foundations Program introduces students to:

- The Pilot vs. Passenger Mindset(TM)

- Building the Culinary Cockpit(TM)

- Safety Through Systems(TM)

- The Language of Sound(TM)

- Aroma Checkpoints(TM)

- Texture Checkpoints(TM)

More than a cookbook, this workbook is a practical training tool designed to help students develop confidence, independence, and greater awareness in the kitchen.
