Yes, this book has all of those things, but as it is set in Florida, that couldn't be helped.
But instead, we want you (and, more importantly, the people who give prestigious literary prizes away) to think of this book as the touching story of the love between a people and their god. Think of it as Yentl but with fewer songs and more enormous teeth. It's really touching all the same, and deep, and probably heartfelt. There might even be metaphors; we're not sure.
A young environmental lawyer is sent to Florida and discovers Florida Man stories don't tell the half of why the Sunshine State is weird and snake handlers aren't the only game in religious reptile observances.
SO COME FOR THE COMBAT OF GODS, STAY FOR SOMETHING MUCH DEEPER AND IMPORTANT(if you figure out what that is, please message us so we can put it on later editions of this book)."Cult of the Gator God is a blast-a kaiju horror-comedy that works on all levels. I don't think I've read anything quite like it and it's really infectious." -Biff Bam Pop!"It is the type of book you want to read with a margarita in hand and Jimmy Buffett in the background." -Hellnotes"Cult of the Gator God is an amazing book! A mixture of various genres, filled with lots of sarcasm, excitement, relatable characters, and fun. I recommend this book to anyone who is ready for a different kind of adventure, anyone who just wants to be surprised and entertained" -Libramorum International"I laughed my butt off at this book. Seriously, it came right off. What the hell, Paul? You owe me a new butt!" -Andrew Snook, author of the Remy's Dilemma series"About this title" may belong to another edition of this title.
