Cultivating Nature's Magic

A collection of photos inspired by the beauty in our own backyard and a story of our journey to lavender farming.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Creemore, Ontario, Purple Hill Lavender Farm is more than a vibrant landscape of purple blooms-it is a labour of love, a family legacy, and a celebration of nature's beauty. This book follows sisters Jessica Ridding and Emma Greasley on their journey to transform their family home into a thriving lavender sanctuary, capturing the vision, challenges, and rewards of creating something from the ground up.

Part memoir, part farm guide, and part visual keepsake, Cultivating Nature's Magic invites readers into the heart of the farm. Discover the story behind the fields, the care and dedication involved in planting and harvesting lavender, and the thoughtful process of turning blooms into essential oils, handmade products, and immersive experiences.

Through vivid photography, personal anecdotes, and practical insights, this book celebrates the sensory delights of lavender-from its calming fragrance and therapeutic properties to the colorful blooms that define each season. Readers will also gain a glimpse into the family behind the farm, their ties to the land, and the passion that continues to drive every decision, event, and creation.

Whether you're a gardening enthusiast, a lover of artisanal products, or simply looking for inspiration to reconnect with nature, Cultivating Nature's Magic offers a window into the beauty, creativity, and joy that a lavender farm can bring-both to those who visit and to those who carry a piece of it home.
