About the Author
Falassi was trained in Cultural Anthropology in Florence, Paris and later at the University of California Berkeley. As professor of Anthropology, he teaches in Italy and the United States. Dr. Falassi has published widely on social history, ritual and festivals, anthropology and folklore.
Flower is a graduate in history and modern languages at Magdalen College, Oxford. He has written over 20 books on a variety of subjects ranging from Egypt, Singapore and Western Australia to motor racing, winter sports and Lloyd's of London. Formerly an international tennis player, racing driver and motor manufacturer, he now divides his time between Italy and Southeast Asia.
