CROSS-CURRENTS is a multinational project in literary translation featuring poetry from the English-speaking world. This volume, CURENTE LA RASCRUCE, features English and Romanian face to face. It is a collaboration between a selected group of poets and students at the West University of Timisoara, Romania.

About the Authors

Eliza Claudia Filimon is an Associate Professor of English in the English Department of the Faculty of Letters, Theology and History, at the West University of Timișoara, and a translator of English, Dutch and Spanish literature.

John Eliot is a poet and critic who credits the encouragement of an anthology editor for setting him on the road to fulfilling an ambition to publish his writing, a favour he is keen to pass on through his work with Italian and Romanian universities on anthologies of translations. Eliot is now poetry editor for Mosa�que Press and co-editor of this series of books. He is a staunch European living in France.
