Sewn binding in leatherette-covered boards. This title is available in cheap reprints, but this copy is the 1968 re-issue with sewn binding, in very convincing faux-leather covers, printed on high-quality paper stock. Opening widely but sewn binding is firm, with intact hinges and square spine. No marks to text. ***Some ink-stains on front endpapers***, with an address-label (apparently applied over another label) on front pastedown. Minor blemishes to page-edges. Small bumps to lower corners. Small ink-mark on front cover. Facsimile reprint of original 1849 Bogue edition.
