Matching set with blindstamped design on boards and gilt spine. Endapapers darkened. First series is the Seventh Edition - 1890 - 248p with a dramatic frontis and Frederick Warne's catalogue. Second Series is the sixth edition 1891 with a frontis pf "The Alchemist" 248p and another catalogue. No marks or signatures but endpapers toned. See Scans and email fir mpre.
