Rey's lovable monkey Curious George, comes to life in a puzzle-solving adventure for PC. Designed for young children, the game features George and The Man with the Yellow Hat spending a day in the city, where George's curiosity causes an array of accidental events. By solving puzzles in four different areas of the city, children help George fix all the problems he didn't mean to cause.From a map of the city, players can access a Candy Factory, a Park, a Circus, and Downtown. With the help of George's Curiosity Tools, he can climb, crawl, bounce, roll, and run to solve puzzles and complete tasks. A total of 21 Curiostiy Tools can be used and include a bowling ball, a trampoline, balloons, a pushing hand, and a crate. In the various areas of town, Curious George encounters elephants, clowns, and townspeople who are a little upset with George. For George to make everything right again, he must retrieve a fan, save a stranded window cleaner and a cat, and return balloons to a circus clown.Puzzles follow a storyline and each is presented in stages within an area. Puzzles are solved using the Curiosity Tools displayed on a taskbar. Each tool is placed within the animated scenes with a click and drag. Though the puzzles may have more than one correct solution, placement of the tools must be just right for George to perform a desired action. To help children, a light bulb icon can be clicked for a hint and the items will briefly display onscreen in their proper locations. When the tools are properly placed and a task successfully performed, players are awarded bananas, which will earn printable Curious George certificates. All areas are available for replay and banana-collecting after completion, yet to acquire the use of all Curiosity Tools, every area will have to be played through once.
