First American edition, 8vo, pp. [6], 176, [10] ads; old private library rubberstamp on endpaper, small spot on spine, else a fine, bright copy in orig. green cloth, gilt-lettered on upper cover and spine. "This work is founded on the view of Currency and Banking taken in the lectures on the Principles of Currency, delivered at Oxford, and published in 1869, and also in other writings" (Preface).
