A bound volume of issues of volume II of the Current Scene, a magazine devoted to China, its politics and government, as well as its society as governed under communist rule. Topics include the Hsia-Fang Campaign, class struggle campaign, communes, nuclear power, military, marriage, peasants, Sinkiang, thought control, etc. GOOD condition. General fading and some scuffing to the covers. Minor soiling. Extremities bumped and scuffed. Two smallish stains present on the fore edge. Previous owner's signature present. Minor toning to the paper.
