This book provides the short history, current state, main problems and historical perspective for the development of electrical power engineering. The focus of the textbook is on the two most important issues related to meeting of the growing needs of humanity in electricity: "Hunger for energy" and “Ecological infarct”. About the Author
Professor Vasili Ushakov is Director at the Regional Centre for Alternative Power Technology of Tomsk Polytechnic University. For 10 years he delivered a lecture course in the program " Electrical power engineering”. Over the this years he was able to analyze and summarize a large amount of material on the issue used for this textbook.
