Currents of Being: VOLUME I: The River of Life

Volume I: River of Life - A Reflection on Roots, Revolution, and Resilience

With global attention once again focused on Iran, many readers are seeking context beyond headlines. Currents of Being - Volume I: The River of Life offers that perspective through history, culture, and lived experience.

In this first volume, Shahin Samadi reflects on his formative years in Iran and his journey to the United States, weaving together personal narrative with the broader story of Persian civilization and the seismic impact of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. From family life and childhood adventures to cultural upheaval and displacement, Samadi explores how heritage, identity, and resilience are shaped across generations.

Through intimate storytelling and thoughtful analysis, this book provides readers with a deeper understanding of Iran's history, sociopolitical transformation, and geopolitical significance-seen through the eyes of someone who lived it.

The River of Life is both a personal memoir and an accessible guide to understanding Iran's past and how it continues to shape the present. It is ideal for readers interested in Iran, Persian history, the Iranian Revolution, and the human stories behind global events.
