The Cursed Pt. 2: Part 2

Born cursed. Raised in a temple of women in white. Now Tokyo's wealthiest widow has a knife in her hand and a record-label tycoon watching her on a screen at Heathrow. From Eric July, creator of Lilian Ronashi, with writer Jen Soska―the conclusion of The Cursed.

The truth comes out about Lilian Ronashi: the affair that produced her, the misfortune that followed her, the fire that took her grandparents on her sixth birthday, and the temple where her mother left her. Silver Cloud raised her. Detective Bushida loves her. Detective Ishikawa is watching her. And Takashi Kojima―her husband's old partner and the man who didn't want her―is the one waiting in the unmarked car when the police take her away. Then a man on a screen at Heathrow looks at her face and asks the only question that matters.

A Tokyo-set supernatural noir from Jen Soska, distinct from the Florespark-centered street-level work, giving the Rippaverse line geographic and tonal range. The direct setup for Lilian's collision with Michael Copper's Black Eye Club (also pubbing 8/04/26)―one of the line's first major character crossovers.
